The State Labor Government has delivered new spaces in two small towns outside Ballarat that the whole community can be proud of.

The upgrades to Burrumbeet Soldiers Memorial Hall and Cardigan Village Reserve are just two of the dozens of community building projects already delivered through our $20 million Tiny Towns Fund.

Member for Ripon, Martha Haylett along with City of Ballarat CEO, Evan King today visited the sites to celebrate the completion of the projects.

The targeted Tiny Towns Fund offers grants of between $5,000 and $50,000 to small communities across regional Victoria.

The hall, built in 1935 to honour First World War veterans — now has new storage, a baby change room and accessible access.

At Cardigan Village Reserve, new play equipment, paths, furniture, gathering areas and a sensory garden have transformed the space for local families.
